Comfortable Two-Up Riding with original Corbin Leather Seat and added passenger pegs, seat pad & back rest.
This Show Wining Gilroy built Indian Chief is powered by its original 88ci S&S Super Stock V-twin Engine paired with the original five-speed transmission and features one of a kind custom built, locking Corbin hard saddle bags, disc brakes, and S&S Super E carburetor. Additional upgrades in January 2024 include; Spyke electric high-torque starter and new YUASA AGM Battery 300CCA.
Chrome & polished billet aluminum bright work includes the front fork assembly, both wire spoke wheels, teardrop headlamp and matching teardrop front spotlights with violet center Jewels. Chrome front headdress light bezel and original lens, two-into-one Indian exhaust system with a 5” tapered cone tip, chrome oil tank, dual Flame Engraved Chrome mirrors. Front Disc Brake Rotor features a polished custom Flame Pattern deigns along with a polished billet aluminum Arrow gear shift rod.
This Indian Chief was custom painted in 2002 by Danny May with Flame Layout & Pin-striping by Dauber in Cincinnati Ohio. Custom paint used is House of Color Violet Kandy over a Silver Pearl base. Flame patterns come alive with Pagan Gold base and several “airbrushed” blends of Tangerine Kandy and Apple Red Kandy highlights. Hand painted outlines are a custom mix of Teal/Aqua. Several overall Clear Top coats were sprayed with PPG Concept DCU and show no signs of cracking, checking or fading.
Both fenders feature custom modifications from a two piece design to a smooth one-piece design with elimination of the chrome trim. A custom made Teardrop Air-Intake cover complements the overall design and features a hand laid Silver-Leaf Indian logo with Indigo Blue hand pin striping. The original Fuel Tank holds 5-gallons.
The factory original Chrome 60-Spoke wire wheels are mounted with newer Dunlop D402F Harley Davidson branding MT90B-16 MC 72H date=18-12 up Front while the Rear Tire is a newer ME 880 Metzler Marathon MT90B-16 date=04-12.
The original Indian branded teardrop-shaped chrome Dashboard is situated between two Chrome Custom gas filler caps and houses a 120-mph speedometer and a row of indicator lights. The five-digit odometer shows 19,205 miles,
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed gearbox and a drive belt.
