This rare bike is in excellent condition. Super low hours and unrestored! Original paint. Original plastic (very rare!). Original seat. Front forks still have the original clear coating on the lowers and have no pitting on them. The rims are straight and look like new almost, the original spokes still have their shine. Original front tire! Even all the rubber parts like the rubber stops in the rear shocks and rubber bands of the number plates are in original new-like condition without any cracking. The frame has minimal paint shipping and only slight wear on the sides from the rider boots. These spots have not been repainted to prove it’s original low hours condition. The bottom of the frame rails have absolutely no dents! The exhaust pipe still has the original paint and is dent free.
The engine is like new and has massive compression, comparable to what the newer CR500’s have. The original breather hoses on the still pristine looking carburetor testify it’s originality.
The handle bar has been repainted and has a set of new original Honda grips.
This probably is one of the lowest hours 1979 CR250 in existence. Pair that with the rarest of rare Mugen ME 360 kit and you have the absolute rarest 1979 model you can buy. A true collection piece.
